Tier I – Early Intervention/Prevention
As a supplement to support all core reading programs, our reading interventions help teachers differentiate instruction for all learners. Whether in whole groups in computer labs or in small group learning centers, CSC programs provide individualized, multi-sensory instruction with the additional opportunities for practice and reinforcement many children need to ensure reading success. |

Tier II – Targeted Intervention
As a targeted intervention, our reading intervention programs are commonly used for 30 minutes/day, 4-5 times a week in addition to the Tier I instruction as an added layer of support. Students who are identified through universal screening using curriculum based measures (e.g. DIBELS, AIMSWeb) are provided highly individualized, explicit, sequential, and mastery-based instruction designed to ensure success for struggling readers. Weekly or bi-weekly progress monitoring shows consistent and dramatic success in improving learning rate and accelerating student performance to benchmark goals, and back into Tier I. |

Tier III – Intensive Intervention
As part of an intensive layer of support, CSC’s reading programs have been proven effective for students requiring intensive interventions, including many with disabilities. In small group or individualized settings, our interventions are commonly used for 30 minutes/day, 5 days/week in a classroom learning center, a resource setting, during tutoring, or even at home. Our technology-based interventions provide highly differentiated support that can also be used to complement and extend other interventions such as tutoring. |
