Caroline Sanchez Crozier

Caroline has actively supported numerous education and technology initiatives in schools Illinois and across the county for many years. An immigrant from Mexico at the age of 8, her love of learning has catapulted her over every challenge in life. Before founding CSC Learning in 1988, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Dominican University, completed certification as public accountant, and held financial positions at several major corporations, including Deloitte & Touche, McDonalds, and ___.
Today, CSC Learning is the premier Hispanic-owned provider of e-Learning solutions and tutoring services to schools across the country and Mexico with a focus on literacy and language development. A mother of two, Ms. Sanchez Crozier contributes much of her time to serving as a board member and volunteer for numerous civic, educational and charitable organizations. |

Chris Cook, Ph.D.
Vice President – Curriculum Services
Dr. Chris Cook serves as Vice President – Curriculum Services, overseeing all aspects of our curriculum products and services. This includes all professional development activities such as developing strategic implementation plans for RTI/reading interventions, as well as training, coaching/support, and project evaluation. Dr. Cook manages CSC product development activities and also spearheads all relationships with CSC content providers to ensure the most rigorous standards of scientifically-based design are upheld.
Dr. Cook has over 25 years of experience applying educational technology to the challenges of language and literacy development. He has taught in a Montessori preschool, as a certified elementary ESL/bilingual teacher in Mexico and Illinois, and also in adult education. Since leaving the classroom, he has continued serving K-12 education in the private sector by leading professional development, product development, marketing, and research departments for many of the world’s leading educational publishing and technology firms, including Ginn & Company, WICAT Systems, Jostens Learning, NewsBank, inc., Larson Learning and Voyager Expanded Learning.
Over the years, he has been an active member of numerous professional organizations and has presented at over 40 different conferences including Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), the National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE), the National School Board Association (NSBA), the National Lexile Reading Conference, the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), and the American Association of School Libraries (AASL).
Dr. Cook holds a B.S. from University of Michigan, an M.S. in Instructional Technology from National Louis University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His dissertation analyzed the interaction of organizational and training factors as they affect levels of use as teachers implement innovative technologies in K-12 classrooms.

Babylon Williams
Vice President
Babylon offers a diverse background of experience and knowledge in the areas of instructional technology, program management, government procurement, and technology infrastructure. As a technology professional, Ms. Williams has assisted organizations in designing, implementing, managing, and supporting technology deployment projects. She has managed teams of technical and construction engineers to plan and design client/server networks. While managing the implementation of a project, Miss Williams worked with the end-user client to align technology programs to organizational goals. As a professional services consultant, she has written school improvement and technology plans to help K-12 organizations enhance teaching and learning practices. Schools, businesses, and non-profit organizations have worked with Miss Williams to secure funding totaling over $5 million for programs including youth development, training, adult literacy, family literacy, and technology integration. Her experience in government procurement enabled local community-based organizations and businesses to develop Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) certification packages and small and disadvantaged subcontracting plans. Babylon also provided technical workshops and trainings to small, minority businesses on, “De-Mystifying Doing Business with the Government”, “Role of Technology in Your Small Business”, and “Writing Winning Grant Proposals”. Miss Williams' academic studies includes Government Procurement with the Illinois Department of Commerce and the United States Department of Defense, International Business with City-Wide College, School Improvement Planning & Quality Assurance through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), Technology Integration & Planning with ISBE, Curriculum-Based Measure Assessments with AIMSWeb, Cisco Enterprise Networking, and Structured Cabling & Electrical Systems through Gibson Electric, Inc.
Ms. Williams manages the CSC-Julex Supplemental Educational Services (SES) Division that provides Illinois State Board of Education approved, NCLB-funded after-school tutoring to students across Illinois.

Roger Sanchez
Education Consultant
Roger Sanchez has over 20 years of experience as an Educational Consultant specializing in educational technology, professional development for teachers, and tutoring. While Roger has supported programs covering virtually every subject area, he has worked most extensively in the area of reading, literacy and ESL.
Roger earned his M.A. from Dominican University in Elementary Education with endorsements in Bilingual Education and Educational Technology. He also holds a B.S. from Loyola University in Computer Science. In addition, Roger has completed training in Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Instruction and the HILL model for teacher training and consultations.

Suzy Evans
Coordinator – Professional Development
Susan began her education career as grade 5-6 teacher, and also taught in a gifted-talented program.
gifted. She has extensive professional development experience in assessment, mathematics and reading. She received her undergraduate certification in Special Education and Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University. Her post-graduate certification includes an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University and a Type 75 Certification from Loyola University. Susan has worked in the private sector with a major ISP that provided the first high-
speed connectivity to over 400 schools in the Chicago area. She has presented to numerous local and national conventions and has been published in a major language arts journal.
In addition to her leadership role coordinating professional development for CSC Learning, Susan continues to deliver professional development to teachers at Concordia University in the areas of Technology Integration and Cognitive Development. She currently is responsible for professional development in the use of technology, by teachers as well as students, to improve student academic performance.

Robin Brown
Professional Development Specialist
Ms. Brown is a compassionate educator with more than 17 years experience in teaching and consulting in public education. Her background includes technology integration, grant writing assistance, 3rd – 8th grade instructional leader, tutoring, and training. As an instructional leader, Mrs. Brown taught 3rd – 8th grade and incorporated technology resources into her classroom to enhance instructional delivery. She also worked as a Technology Coordinator providing technology workshops and classes to both students and teachers. She served as a mentor for teachers in a the technology program sponsored by the University of Chicago. Schools worked with Mrs. Brown to sponsor the Young Authors Contest for 9 consecutive years. Robin has also been very instrumental in the management of the University of Chicago Neighborhood School Program. Currently Robin is the Instructional Leader for the Julex After-School Program responsible for the development and/or enhancement of curriculum and onsite management of instructional delivery. Mrs. Brown holds a Master’s in Education specializing in Curriculum and Technology; and acquired her Bachelor’s in Communication from Southern Illinois University.
